We are THRILLED to announce that the entire Poppy Challenge Exhibit will be in the Festival of Quilts Show in Birmingham, England! We will be bringing the quilt with us to be exhibitors at the show, and Karla is giving a lecture July 30 at 12:00 pm titled "10 Years of The Cherrywood Challenge." This is a HUGE undertaking for us and we are so excited to vend internationally!
This invitation to display a Special Exhibit in England means we have extended the schedule of the Poppy quilts. Normally, the quilts would have been returned to the artists by now. We have communicated this information to all the quilters involved, but sometimes emails get buried, so spread the word!

There is also a SECOND opportunity for the Poppy Exhibit this summer at the Iowa Quilt Museum in Winterset, Iowa. "In Flanders Fields the Poppies Grow" is the title of the exhibit which will also feature Quilts of Valor.
Karla will present a lecture on June 4, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in the museum. There will fabric for purchase before and after the lecture in the museum. Karla will also be available the rest of the day in the museum.
