Oktoberfest - Fabric Only

Inspired by vines of hops climbing up a wall and fields of sun-ripened wheat, Oktoberfest suggests the earthly, hoppy, bubbly smells of the fall celebrations in Germany.

The curves of the background are constructed as reverse-appliqué, exposing layers of color. Raw-edge appliqué buds and seeds trail along the sweeping curves.
