Join the Gen X Jacket-along!

Join the Cherrywood crew for a Gen X Jacket-along during the month of May!

Grab your Gen X Jacket pattern and select your fabrics, or snag one of our fabric-only kits in the Farmland colorway.

The Gen X Jacket pattern by Elaine Wick Poplin aka Messy Goat Sews is a great skill-builder and suitable for adventurous beginning sewists. We will be hosting via our brand new Patreon. There is no fee to participate in the JAL, but you will need to sign up for the free level. We invite you and your sewing friends to join!

Jacket-along content will drop on Saturdays:

Week One - May 3: Select your size, prep your pattern and fabric, FPP basics.

Week Two - May 10: Cut and organize your pieces, select your notions. Continue FPP panels.

Week Three - May 17: Assemble front and back panels & pockets, attach front to back, collar and front bands.

Week Four - May 24: Assemble sleeves and cuffs, attach sleeves and bottom band, buttonholes and other finishing.

Week Five - May 31: Show off your finished Gen X Jacket for Memorial Day!
