Summers are very short here in Minnesota. We have thousands of lakes which means miles and miles of beach. They may not be as sandy as the ocean, but we can still use our imagination to name all these soft, airy colors. We achieve the clear colors by using a different base fabric than the rest of our collection - WHITE. Now you can build gradations of color that truly fade away to nothing. The Beach Collection is dyed exactly the same way as our regular fabric (dyed on un-bleached muslin.) That means it is pre-shrunk - even the white....

Things are very pink around here and we assemble the Special Exhibit that will premier in Houston 2021! We do a ton of work to make the display easy to hang and cohesive every year. Knowing that The Diana Cherrywood Challenge Exhibit will not rest much once it hits the road, we take care and caution now to make sure those little art quilts survive the journey. We are also VERY excited to have the photo book at the printer already (especially since there are no guarantees about delivery these days!) Now we just have to get the poster put...
