Recently diagnosed with Ovarain Cancer, RaNae Merrill was invited to make a small quilt for the MD Anderson Ovarian Quilt Auction that takes place in Fall 2027. She already had this paper-pieced heart design available, which also happens to resemble ovaries and fallopian tubes. 

A Message from RaNae: 

September 4 is WEAR TEAL DAY.

I've decided to MAKE my quilt ON September 4th,
and I'm going to LIVE-STREAM my studio all day 
so YOU CAN QUILT WITH ME!

During the day I'll also feature interviews with Karla, with the MD Anderson Quilt Auction organizers, and some other interesting guests.  Karla is preparing a bunch of teal gradation bundles for you to purchase, so watch for purchasing info in my next newsletter.

Now, since September 4 is WEAR Teal Day (and whether or not you quilt with me, you want to show your support, right?) I created a T-shirt with the teal-colored Wings of Love design on the front. I'll be wearing mine on the day of the livestream!
